I enjoy taking part of such things [the beauty project] because there are too many ugly things in the world, and if you can have people see through different eyes... it is the small things that are important. It's not the body. Someone who is old and has experienced life has much more to offer than one who is younger. I'm a big woman, what they call fat, [most of whom] wouldn't ever want to pose in the nude. I am a life-drawing model, because I like to show people that they can make something beautiful from that. That you can use it in a positive manner, that fat - fat is not a good word, but better: "big woman." So that's what you do when you paint [draw] me, I want to see what you have done, as it is a compliment...the third painting [drawing] was wonderful, I saw you growing - the one that is so free, it captures the moment and I felt that way.
